Why We Like The Alloy Disc Gravel Wheelset

E11even's Alloy Disc Gravel Wheelset is an affordable option for gravel grinding and for riders who don't want to carve out their savings for a new wheelset. It's not the lightest or the top of its class, but it's a reliable wheelset that'll deliver the kind of performance we like to see when we're speeding down gravel paths. An alloy construction saves weight but is cheaper than a carbon layup, and a tubeless construction improves grip and compliance.

Great value wheels-

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been looking for a spare set of wheels so that I can easily change my tubeless tires from 38mm slicks to 42mm knobbies- at $150 for these aluminum wheels I couldn't pass them up. I've ridden them for 300+ miles so far, nothing to say. Same weight as my DT Swiss G1800, bottom of the line hubs. Good so far!

Bought a new bike and moved carbon wheels over to it. Put these on my old bike as a spare bike. I honestly can’t tell the difference too much. These are great wheels for a great price.

Looks good so far. NOTICE: XDR freehub

A great looking wheelset. Amazing Deal (got it at 57% off) Came pre-taped with the stem installed. A bit of an issue with product description. There is nothing on the page about what freehub it comes with. I reached out to support and the said it came with a HG freehub. Wheels arrived and they had a XDR freehub... Reached out to both Backcountry support and DT Swiss, and the freehub body that backcountry sells (3-Pawl Freehub Body and End Cap. Road, HG, 12x142mm 3-Pawl Freehub Body and End Cap. Road, HG, 12x142mm) should work for an easy conversion to HG. Overall happy, just be aware of the freehub. And if you need to buy the HG hub I still think it is a killer deal for a complete wheelset.
