Dynafit made the Men's TLT8 Expedition CR boots for committing ski mountaineering routes that demand high-performance equipment. Constructed with a carbon-infused Lambda frame and Grilamid shell, these boots provide exceptional lateral and forward rigidity for improved strength and power transmission on the descent while enhancing walkability and ease of entry.
Constructed with a Speed Nose, the TLT8 Expedition boots feature a short, smooth toebox with a more rearward toe fitting placement for optimum touring efficiency and minimum resistance, so you can save your energy for the descent. Our favorite feature is the Ultralock 4.0 upper buckle that's connected via a cable to the adjustable lower, letting us tighten and loosen the entire boot in one motion.

The 8?s buckle system is much better than the 7?s. I have now skied the 8?s all season in the backcountry and some lift accessed. The boots tour great and are good enough on hard snow. I love the fit once I?m able to get my foot in. But getting them on and off is difficult-at least for me.

This boot is light and moves great. It has made going up so nice but still stays warm and is stiff enough to enjoy the down hill.

Finally a Dynafit boot that fits normal feet! I have a narrow heel and normal sized toebox and these puppies fit like a glove. No blisters going uphill and decent downhill performance considering thye are really light. The integrated top buckle and walk mode is genius and works so well. Really happy with this boot! The only thing to watch for is the sole length is really small compared to other boots so had to remount my bindings.
