We’re sure to be ripping down fresh trails on our Diamondback Release 29 3 and hitting all the side features the fun-loving trail builders have to offer. The Release 29 gets the full Shimano XT treatment and an impressively tuned suspension to get us through the sloppiest of days. The Release 29 rolls on big 29in wheels and uses 130mm of suspension in the rear to support big hits and aggressive riding. We’re more than excited to see the Diamondback coming on strong with a high-quality drivetrain and suspension components fixed to a quality aluminum frame with easy-to-service parts.
Geometry on the Release 29 has us begging for the tight and twisty singletrack to keep the hits coming. The bike uses a fairly steep 67.7-degree head tube angle but paired with efficient 29in wheels, finds itself rolling over just about anything. The wheelbase on the bike is a modern 1159mm on a size medium, this means that we can maneuver the bike through tight and twistys while still staying confident when the speed gets high. Diamondback specs the Release 29 with CNC’d aluminum pedals complete with removable pins, so we won’t need to be dropping cash on extra accessories right out of the gate.
Specs on the Release 29 3 really impress us with a mix of high-quality components from Shimano and Fox suspension supporting our wildest riding endeavors. A full Shimano XT drivetrain adorns the bike, from the shifter to the derailleur and even the cassette we’re getting to enjoy the best and smoothest shifting in the business. External cable routing makes bleeds and replacements a breeze since we don't need to fish line out of the frame. Fox suspension comes in the performance package, giving much of the same performance as the high-end bits but without the excessive price tag to boot.

Incredible Value
I couldn't be more impressed with the Diamondback Release 3 29. Beautiful Bike with full Deore XT components including hubs, pedals, threaded bottom bracket, Fox 34 performance float, Fox Performance DPX2 remote res and came tubeless with sealant from Backcountry. Two things I found odd was the lack of internal cable routing and the dropper post, it's to long for a medium frame and did not fit my wife who is 5'8". The cable routing is ok because it's easier to replace but the dropper post should be 100mm or 125mm not 150 mm. Backcountry gave us a great price on a new dropper post to replace the one that came on the bike. Great Customer Service, Highly Recommended!!!! All this for $2800 and it makes my wife happy, Priceless !!!!
