Great travel suitcase - well built
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Great looking suitcase - well built, lot's of space, and well designed. I was looking for a carry on suitcase to replace my old Dakota (by Tumi), without the price tag. Most of what I found was hardshell, or a few soft shell cases that did not look at well built, or as well designed, until I found this one. This case3 fits as a carry on on larger aircraft / longer flights, however it is too large for the smaller aircraft, and when expanded it wont fit on either.

23", not 20"

Great bag, well made, and exactly the features I wanted. But it's 23 inches high, not 20, which risks not being allowed to carry on, especially on smaller airlines. The measurement must include the wheels, and Dakine somehow got it wrong this time. I'll be looking for a 21 inch bag with the same features.
