Why We Like The Columbia Roaring Fork Down Jacket

The Columbia Roaring Fork Down Jacket is made for those who refuse to spend their winter staring at the fireplace, those brave adventurers who layer up and get out there to play in the freshly fallen snow. The Omni-Shield water-resistant treatment sheds light moisture so we can ski through deep pockets of powder, ensuring the lightweight down stays warm and lofty for hours on end. The Omni-Heat Infinity lining uses thermal-reflective dots to trap heat close to our body and minimize heat loss in frigid conditions, and the adjustable hem, cuffs, and hood ensure we don't let that hoarded heat slip away.

Super warm and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality, and the inner thermal lining warms you up as soon as you put it on. I had to exchange for a size down since it's a bit bulky, but the jacket is very flattering around the waist.

Not rain-resistant!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Travelled with this jacket to Patagonia. I experienced not exactly a "heavy rain" but some prolonged rain. I thought I would be protected with the jacket given it said it was water resistant but I ended up completely soaked. At a temperature of 32 degrees, this was not fun at all. I guess if it does not rain it is probably fine but I do feel it did not meet my expectations.

Coat did not fit properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coat did not fit properly. Upper sleeves too bulky and made for longer arms but the coat is short. The fit was not flattering at all. The emblem on side of the arm was big and tacky looking. Definitely not worth the price.
