Heavy duty warmth
I bought these for winter camping in the BWCA. I took them to northern MN last year for the first time where temps hit -30ºF ambient temps. These boots kept my feet toasty warm the entire time. Order them a tad big so your foot has plenty of room to move around – that's the key to making any boot warmer.

Great boot, small improvements would make it perfect
Bought this a month ago, finally had a chance to try it out on a 7 mile hike through the snow. The boots performed very well. The top-rear section of the boot is stretchy, allowing your calf to move and flex without being constricted. The temperature was in the 20s, and my feet easily stayed warm. My feet tend to be on the wide size for most shoe brands, typically size 10. I ordered a 10.5 to compensate for the lack of wide sizes and everything felt great. This also allowed for room for thicker socks, as well as room in the toe-box for downhill movement. The boots are far lighter than they appear. It will be interesting to see how the lowers hold up, as, while the material is plenty flexible and nonrestrictive, it is also stiff enough that it creases in the same point with every step. The first four lace eyelets are great, as the webbing is reinforced with with an aluminum insert. However, the 5th eyelet is a small, thin d-ring which twists around when the lace is pulled tight and would benefit greatly from being upgraded to the reinforced eyelets found below, or the solid aluminum eyelets above. For the 6th and 7th eyelets, they are solid and not "speed hooks" as is common in this position on boots. Because of this (combined with the length of the laces), loosening the laces enough to get your foot out of the boot, brings the lace tips at risk of falling through the eyelets, requiring them to be re-laced.

Great boots, very warm
I live in the North Idaho Panhandle about an hour south of the Canadian border. We get a lot of snow in the area. I bought these boots for snow shoe trails, Husky hikes and warm dry feet. Very impressed with the Omni heat 3D, very warm with a lot of ankle support. The rand and sole are still flexible especially in comparison to some other winter boots from comparable companies. Love these, would recommend them to a friend and I’m trying to now talk my wife into a pair of the ladies PowderHouse. Well done Columbia

Not good
I work at the airport and thought that these boots with 600grams would be enough to deal with working outside in the cold Chicago weather but no even wearing socks still felt my feet freezing but winter proof they’re not

Poorly Fitted
From one style of Columbia boot to another the fitment is very inconsistent. The boot feels like it's the same size as a warm weather boot but with insulation stuffed in there with your foot being an afterthought.

Comfortable and warm
I bought these for a trip to Alaska and was not disappointed. My feet weren't cold, even in the -20F weather. I didn't break them in prior to the trip, but they were comfortable. I wish I had more days cold enough to wear them in Oklahoma because I loved these boots so much.

2 week review
I purchased these boots about two weeks ago on a counties quest to find boots I could be content with. Although I do not believe in a 5 star boot these deserve a sold 4.5. The are extremely comfortable although stiff at first. Although I am not a fan of the eyelets on the boot I do not mind them and they lace and secure well. I like that it is a synthetic material rather than a leather. These boots are 100% waterproof and are more than capable to keep your feet warm and -15° weather plus a 10 mile an hour wind chill. I am a locator for a directional drill and constantly I am moving slowly through deep snow these boots offer the warmth protection and traction I need. The price is killer. Just get them and thank me later. Also please realize that if you allow your feet to sweat they will get cold. It’s your fault not the boots. I wear thin summer socks on days that are above 15 degrees.

Too small
I am female and generally wear a size 9.5 in women's. The women's 10 was way too small so I bought a mens 9, which was still too small! These seem like a great boot, but are really small and do NOT run true to size
