My favorite outer layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely Love this jacket. It is quite warm yet still thin. I wouldn't balk at a "Warmer" rating for it, but for it's thickness, it's as warm as it gets, so the "Warmest" makes sense in that regard. I like that it is compatible with the 3-point connection into other combination jackets, but it's perfect by itself. You're really stacking warmth at that point. I do like long sleeves underneath, but that's true for any winter coat, just for comfort. As far as fit, Columbia is always on the larger size for me. With most brands I'm usually between L and XL, and have complaints either way, but with Columbia I'm a Large every time, even when they say "Active Fit" and the like. I swim in an XL. I've even used their body measurement deal to help find a perfect fit, and I still prefer Large even when they tell me it might be a bit snug. So if that sounds like you, order accordingly.
