Good for 4-5 Years only.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Good and the Bad. This jacket is absolutely fantastic, for 4-5 years, then the outer fabric will start to peel off. Started coming off everywhere. Pieces of the grey shell everywhere. Yes, I decided to buy another one, because it is warm and waterproof, for 4-5 years.

Great jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I didn’t like it. Too plastic looking but I needed it in the rain and it was perfect! Kept me dry and warm. And the rest of the crew made comments about it. One guy wanted to buy it from me! It kept me dry during a torrential rain. I get comments all the time about how cool the gold looks. It’s become my new favorite. Would buy it again.

it's as plasticky as it looks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's as plasticky as it looks... not terrible, exactly, and certainly very waterproof and wind proof, but... I mean, it looks like it's made out of garbage bag, both in the photos and in real life. I could see myself wearing one, maybe... but I got a different Columbia puffer that's waterproof and doesn't look like a garbage bag.

Pretty close to perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this jacket is amazing! Was able to test it out in 0 degree weather I stayed plenty warm with only a fleece layer and T shirt underneath. The shell is completely waterproof and it feels very durable compared to other down jackets all while being very lightweight. A few small issues that keep it from a 5 star rating: it’s a very boxy fit, the cuffs are a bit uncomfortable, and I’ve noticed some stitching fraying where my chin rubs against the top of the jacket. If those issues were fixed, I don’t think I’d ever want another jacket.

Water-resistant puffy coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is a replacement for a previous version that has been my only puffy for 1200 miles of backpacking trails over the past five years. The seam seal tape and velcro fastener glue was starting to fail on the original, so it was time for a replacement

Misleading pictures, still a sweet jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture makes the jacket look black but its really a much more of a lighter grey. I'm not a big fan of the elastic cuffs. Overall I think the jacket isn't really attractive in person, but functionally it cant be beat. Super warm and super water resistant. I ordered a medium and it was huge on me, returned it for a small.

Great jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket that is a little stiff out the bag but after a few wears it breaks in nicely. It is extremely lightweight yet provides amazing warmth in cold New England temperatures. The only thing that annoys me are the cuffs, They are not very comfortable as compared to the voodoo falls 590 turbo down jacket that I was wearing previously for the last 4 or 5 years.

First two weeks of ownership so far so good..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great in a downpour in 40 weather, stayed warm and dry. It runs a bit large, but that makes it easier to layer. May be best to order a size down. So far seems durable after owning for a couple of weeks now. Very lightweight and then, easy to maneuver or perform complex tasks without added bulk. Looks great and ultra modern design. Rain beads up and drips like a fresh coat of wax on a sports car. Paired with a waterproof paints this jacket will keep you warm and dry rather you’re on a hiking trial or running to the grocery store in inclement weather. On a scale of 1 to 10 this jacket gets a solid 9. Could fit a bit more snug, unless you don’t mind a loose relaxed fit.
