Good for urban cycling, also
I bought these to replace a much loved pair of Merrell "Freewheel" urban cycling shoes which were suitable for flat pedals AND for walking. So far, I think these will be a very good replacement, even though that use may not have been the designer's intention. The soles are stiff enough for cycling yet flexible enough for walking, and they grip my pedals well (I have pedals with pins as well as MKS Sylvan touring pedals). I appreciate the ample toe box and the breathable fabric, just like my Merrell shoes had. I've also used them for fitness walking. I was pleased to see they were available in some other color than black!

Good every day shoe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe has good toe box room. More of a minimalist shoe. Construction seems durable. I wear them for hiking and playing disc golf.

Very comfortable.
Very comfortable with plenty of to space. Works well for not slipping in the water.

Quality Lacking...
I have had two pairs over 6 months. The biggest flaw with these is, if you walk daily, the heals wear very quickly. Plan on replacing every three months. Certainly not hiking shoes, as they are too low and heels never hold up. A quality shoe should hold up for six months minimum... Colombia also discontinued the best selling color (solid black)???

Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They fit good and the sole doesn't pickup grass and other material so I can go inside without taking them off.

Good looks but needs more structure and cushioning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe’s construction is primarily textile with a suede heal cap. Unfortunately, this shoe is not waterproof. This shoe fit my foot very well. Having a narrow foot, often the toe box of the shoe buckles upward when the shoe is fully tightened. This did not happen with this shoe. My foot felt comfortable and secure laterally. This shoe also did not have much pitch. My foot laid mostly flat and did not have much heel bias. There wasn’t much heel support, but I felt more than the Teva Grandview GTX. The heel cup was rounded and offered a secure heel without any slippage when walking. When walking, the lack of sole structure comes through. When holding the shoe in your hand, it is easy to twist the shoe when holding the front of the shoe and the rear of the shoe. The shoe also does not have much cushioning…particularly at the ball of your foot. Hitting hard pavement was very noticeable on the ball of my foot. I suspect that the lack of structure and cushioning would make walking on jagged or uneven pavement an uncomfortable chore. Because of this lack of structure, and the fact that the wide lacing configuration made tightening the shoes a bit of a hassle, I returned this shoe.
