If I'm being honest, as a grown woman I haven't owned a sweater since I was a little girl, as depicted in my 3rd grade class photo. Especially being a fan of all things Columbia, when I came across this sweater I immediately fell in love with the asymmetrical buttony and the thermal textural style of the fabric. Admittedly, I was slightly hesitant to make the purchase due to the price, but my gut said to go for it. Seeing the sweater in person it was apparent that the thermal waffle style fabric was much softer to the touch than to the eye. Upon putting on the sweater for the first time, I was delighted at how soft the inner layer was. It's so soft (not to mention warm and cozy) that I don't prefer to wear a thin layer beneath the sweater, as I do with most of my tops. Overall, this was a worthwhile fantastic purchase. Now I want more sweaters.

Pilling Problem

I purchased this at the end of the season last year. Tried it on. Loved the color, style, fit and feel of the material. Unfortunately, the first time I wore if this winter, it started pilling. I've been purchasing Columbia fleece for years and have NEVER had this problem.

Very Comfy!!!

This is very warm and soft. Its also very comfy. You can dress this up or wear it with leggings.

Very disappointed.

Very disappointed with this top. Started pilling on the first wear. Never had this happen with Columbia items. Would have returned but did not have tags. Now will be concerned when thinking of purchasing other Columbia clothing.

Look Good in this Cozy Sweater

This sweater top is very warm, it is nice and think but not a bulky sweater. I wanted to amp up my outdoor tops since now instead of sitting inside my favorite wine shop, coffee shop, or restaurant, I am outside so I wanted a stylish look, a tight weave to keep the wind out, and this sweater meets the marks. The buttons are sewn on well; I find this a tip off on quality. I’m very pleased and the price point was good too.

My go to Friday attire

Super comfortable and perfect for weekends and Friday's at work. Lining is soft and the shirt is overall plush. The buttons on the shoulder just adds that little touch instead of looking like a 'sweatshirt.'

Started severely pilling. Awkward "bell" look. Not flattering.

I'm going to see if this is returnable. ONE wearing and it has horrible pilling. Also the fit is awkward and looks like you are wearing a bell.

Great purchase

Love this. Not too heavy or light and will be great for spring and fall weather. Ordered in a medium and was worried it would be too big but it was not. Normally wear size small in most other brands. 5'6 and 120. I think small would have been too tight for a sweatshirt fit. Sleaves are perfect too. Wish there were brighter colors to pick from but love the sweater/sweatshirt with the button detail with help give it more style.

Warm and comfy

This top keeps me warm in an Idaho winter and looks great. I’ve gotten compliments on it. The only drawback is that the fabric pills a bit. Still, I’d order it knowing that.
