Perfect shorts!!
Love these shorts, I have about 5 pairs. You need to add some new colors though. Preferably a few different shades of brown and a dark green.

Good Quality Shorts
Purchased two pair for casual wear and fishing and they are very comfortable. Material is good quality with a good mesh liner. They do run a little big (Size: Large) but still are quality shorts.

Lining better suited for grating hard cheese
Columbia might have made a mistake with the listing: they clearly did not intend this to serve as clothing. The lining material works much better as a wood rasp. Wore these only one time (yes I washed them first) for an evening in a hot tub while on vacation. So a hot tub: no hiking, or walking around, etc. Just sitting in warm water and periodically refilling drinks. Even with that, the lining absolutely ruined my legs/thighs. These are egregiously uncomfortable and I cannot imagine how anyone could possibly enjoy these shorts unless they are a masochist, or a person seeking vengeance upon a gift recipient. And, let me say - I own lots of Columbia gear. I've generally been very happy with their value/quality. But these shorts...yeesh. Anyone who tested and approved this needs therapy/institutionalization. When I rise to power, you'll do hard time for creating a monstrosity like this. On a scale of 1-5 stars, I give these shorts the rating: Hurl them into the sun. Thank you for your time.

Ah, Not Sure....
Ordered three pair of water shorts, 6" inseam. Well, pretty sure they are not 6", come down to my knees. Size is BIG, not true to size, big and baggy and I have fairly beefy thighs. If I had to do over I would not purchase unless you are looking for a pair of trunks to swim in, and I don't mean the pool!
