These boots are so comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and was able to wear these all day.

Rugged yet swanky field boots

Super comfortable, stylish, I’ll definitely buy a pair in all three colors!

Very cute - good traction

I've been getting a lot of compliments! These are more stylish than usability. I like how they make me taller -- I'm 5'4". They are comfortable in town -- not hiking around in the woods. I haven't tested them for waterproofness yet. I bought the dark brown. Super cute and good support!

Not in love

Not loving them yet. I bought a pair on sale and had to exchange them for half a size bigger. (I typically wear a 9 and exchanged them for a 9.5) I bought them to replace my favorite Chaco boots (can’t remember the name now. Sierra maybe?) and they’re no where near as comfortable. They’re incredibly stiff and have been terrible to break in. They also don’t have very good traction. I went hiking in them to try to break them in and I was slipping all over the place. They’re cute and I’m hoping eventually they’ll be more comfortable but as of right now, I’m not in love with them. I wish I could just get another pair of the ones I like.

Favorite of my favorites!

These are VERY classic, my favorite shoes, and I own every color! They are sturdy, so comfortable, can be worn year round because they’re simple and leather, and they have a great tread for any season! I’ve even contemplated buying backup pairs in case the style or a color gets discontinued. I only request that Chaco makes the women’s in the dark brown (like the men’s version), and maybe even a tan or workboot-style yellow (or both haha). Then I’d really have it all lol.

Great fit, hard to break in

Super comfortable arch support and fit true to size (I wear a 9 in Chacos Classic Sandals and an 8.5 in these boots). They're definitely waterproof (walked through shallow water with no problems), but I have added lanolin and beeswax waterproofing to ensure waterproofing. However, I'm having a hard time breaking them in around the heal and have developed blisters I'm working to get rid of.

Boots

The fit was a little big but with heavy socks should work just fine.

Comfy but squeaky

I received these as a gift in late August and have been wearing them indoors because it’s been very warm. I have a fairly narrow heel, high arch, prefer a wider toolbox. They fit well for me. (I take a 9 1/2 to 10 and got a 10). As other reviewers have noticed, the tongue is surprisingly short. I don’t think this will be an issue for me, but I have no intention of wearing them for serious hiking. Others have noticed and complained about the squeak and they def squeak! Imagine your regular Chaco sandals But much louder. All that said, comfort, lightweight, and a sturdy shoe were really what I was looking for and got.
