Had to return, to small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I have a relatively small and slim build (5'9", 140lbs) and size medium was too small. Bummer since the shirt did look quite cool. By the way, it is definitely warm/thermal, as advertised.

Great winter jersey
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I ride a lot during the winter and I have four of these jerseys to keep me warm. If it's in the 40s I typically have a base layer under the jersey and then subtract it as the day warms. Solid product. I'm 5'10" and 155 and the jersey fits perfectly.

Perfect For Cool Weather Days
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This jersey is well made and fits perfectly. The material is soft and stays soft after multiple washings. It works great on our cold(ish) winter days in Northern California but not so bulky that you feel that you're padded for shipping. Great work!

Warm Winter jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I used it on a road ride with the temperature In the mid 40’s and a breeze of 10 mph from the North under sunny conditions. I wore a thin, short sleeved base + thin, long sleeved base. I didn’t feel restricted/constricted regarding movement. Initially, the ride was much uphill. Only briefly did I feel too warm. For the descent, I was comfortable. Probably, could have gotten by with 1 (better, thicker) base layer. I would agree with other reviews stating that the sleeves are a little long, but I just rolled them over my gloves and that was a good enough. Because of the breezy conditions, I always prefer the form fit from Castelli which a M shirt sleeve delivers, but not so much this one. Overall, a good cold weather option that I would recommend. For a sizing comparison, I also purchased a similar M - size Gore product, but it was a little too big.

Perfect cool weather jersey
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'm 5' 10", 160 lbs and the large fits me perfectly. Trim, but not skin tight. The material has good stretch, but not excessive. The weight is spot on as well. I wore it this morning over a layer at 48° F. I could have gone with a lighter base layer. The design is nicer than I thought. The black bars actually have micro perforations in them, giving the jersey a more sophisticated look.

Warm & Cozy
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've worn this jersey down to 33°F with a long-sleeved base layer, and a light jacket. It is very warm, wicks well, and feels nice on a long ride. The sleeves are little long, but that's good for pulling over gloves. If I must be picky, the collar does tend to roll flat if partially unzipped. On my last ride temps were 33-54°, it never felt hot, damp, or stuffy. I would buy a 2nd. The full width chest reflective strip is nice for early starts. My Castelli bib tights have reflective cuffs and combined give great front/back visibility.

Great design and style, just a bit bulky
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I loved this thing out of the box, the looks (mine was black) and fleece lining are really nice. However, the fit was a bit bulky for my skinny and short frame at 5'5" and 120 lbs compared to all the other Castelli jerseys I've had and long as well, really long so much so that multiple rolls were required to keep it from hitting below my crotch area and butt. I guess this helps accommodate base layers underneath but it was excessive for me and I returned it. I would have guessed this was a medium with a "classic" or "fondo" relaxed cut, not the usual trim and race ready Castelli form.

Warm and cozy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is one of my 55 degree and under jerseys. Any ride above 55 and it is too warm. I grab it for mountain bike rides in the early mornings and winter time in northern Ca. I chose black which shows less dirt and mud stains. I pair it with a light long sleeve base for high 40's temps and add a vest for low 40's. The fleecy lining is super cozy and will warm up quick but wicks nicely and I am yet to be a wet mess in it. It is not cut for race fit. But at 168 lbs. and 6'0", the fit is perfect and doesn't create issues when you want to wear something underneath. Good arm length, nice collar and deep pockets.
