Reliably damaged on delivery
Ordered this paddle on Backcountry to receive a caved in box with a dented paddle and no packaging material inside. Asked for a replacement they send me out ... a new dented paddle with no packaging material inside. So now I have a damaged product and it costs $8 each time to watch them make the same mistake. Cool stuff

Unhappy paddler
Too heavy, blades have unfinished look (plastic shavings hanging on edges, blades have no channels - splashing water, clunky at the joint.

I never knew
I never knew there was such a difference with paddles, until I got my Magic Mystic paddles. What a difference from my old paddles. I had to get another pair for our other kayak. Couldn't be happier.

ok paddle
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 230
I had another Carlisle paddle before I bought this one and I was pleased with it so after it was stolen I decided to get another. My other one didn't have an aluminum shaft and I'm not crazy over the aluminum. It arrived dented and feel very thin so I'm sure it will get dented even more. It doesn't effect the usability but I was still bummed to received a damaged product. I have a sit on top kayak that I use for slow moving rivers and lakes and the paddle works well.
