Almost perfect.
Still getting used to it, but liking it. But I don't like having to tie it off all the time,so I added an adjustable side release buckle. Just a few bucks, and done. The lack of this feature almost made me go elsewhere, but it's such a great apron that it was worth doing the mod.

The straps are poorly designed. Difficult for old man to tie a bow behind my back.

Perfect apron for jewelry making
I'm using this apron for jewelry making, including sawing and soldering various metals. It has a great array of pockets, is made of very tough cotton duck, and fits well.

WHO gets this Apron when I die and it is still good to go?
Great apron that is put together to last. I am going to sew a coup[lle of feet onto the current tie straps, so I CAN TIE IT IN FRONT. Eighty-six year old arthritic hands do not like tie behind. It will probablt go to one of my sons upon my demise, because CARHARTT never gives up. I have a complete set of CARHARTT outdoor pants and coat that are at least 20+ years old. I get a couple of days each year in the winter to wear them now that I live in the Arizona Southern dessert.

Only apron you'll need
Great apron , good length and the cross tie in the back works perfectly and there is enough tie comfortably and not look uncomfortable.

Im not crazy about the angle and configuration of the pockets. Its tough to dig out stuff like pencils or tape measures. The material is standard duck, very tough almist too tough. I rate this product "so-so", Carhartt !

get one.
I like using it; nice to have something to keep my clcothes clean while cooking or in the garage. the fabric is stiff, and benefits from being left out in the rain for a while. Seems to help loosen it up a bit.

Apron review
As a professional furniture maker of forty-six years I give this a shop apron a thumbs up. With a few modifications it could be a class of its own.

???
You folks hit the nail right on the head once again. I wish there was a buckle instead of a tie in the back.

I bought this for my nephew, who was very happy to receive it. He builds boats, and it is a great apron.
