Peter Line Rainbow Snowboard

Peter Line got his first pro model snowboard 20 years ago, and to honor his legacy, Capita decided to make the Rainbow Snowboard. Featuring graphic elements borrowed from Peter's iconic pro models over the years, and based on the poppy and powerful Mercury snowboard, the PL Rainbow is an all-terrain beast that crushes everything from powder to park jumps. The Freeride FK profile is mostly camber for powerful pop and reliable edge hold, with rocker outside the bindings to help it float in deep snow and add a bit of forgiveness on hardpack. The medium-stiff flex provides the stability and response you want for bombing into huge jumps and pointing it down steeps, but it's still capable of greasing the occasional rail too. The Panda core features a mix of poplar and paulownia wood strips for the ideal balance of light weight and strength, and inlaid bamboo rods enhance pop and durability.

DynaWeave fiberglass features a resin application borrowed from the marine industry that yields much stronger and more rigid qualities, allowing Capita to decrease the thickness of the wood core and shave weight. Carbon V-Tech uses four carbon beams forming V's from the contact point to the inserts to improve response and pop while adding a minimal amount of extra weight. The carbon beams are pre-cured in an arched shape that counters the board's profile for a pre-loaded effect that offers double the pop and response of normal carbon additives. It's finished off with a durable Wax Infused Rotation sintered base that wicks wax to the surface as you ride to keep you moving fast throughout the entire day.
