Why We Like The Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard

The steep and deep is where we play the hardest, and whether we're sending backcountry booters or charging full-speed down massive pillow lines, this snowboard lets us have the best of both worlds. The Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard is a uniquely compact powder board that combines a floaty directional nose with a maneuverable tapered shape. This sweet combo surfs in pow, carves on a dime, and pops with explosive power. Snap, speed, and soaring power are all delivered in this board's Alpine V2 profile and all-around tech, so even without fresh snow, we'll never have a boring day on the hill.

This board is a dream! Fun, floaty and responsive in powder. Charged the dragon down some epic pow lines with the recent storm systems that rolled Utah. Really responsive surfy feel in powder, almost like riding a camber board on fresh cords! Tons of pop but still flexy enough to be playful on the side hits. The underfoot profile is unique and I thought it was still fast and responsive on packed snow as well. Great choice if you are looking for an all mountain do it all powder board!

This Board is an absolute thrill

This board is an absolute blast. While advertised as a powder board, it is really a weapon across any terrain. This board turns pretty much better than any other I have ridden. The directional shape and camber allow this board to blast down any terrain thrown at it. From my own previous experience this board feels on the stiff side of a mid-flex board, however it feels undoubtedly stable at speeds. I think this board is great for more aggressive riders that like shredding big turns wherever they go. While I found this board fun on side hits and kickers. It wasn't as playful as other options. This board likes to shred turns and kick up rooster tails of powder. But don't get me wrong it is a great all around board, it just lends itself to this kind of riding. All in all I love this board, it's the perfect powder shredder for someone who needs an all mountain board the other half of the season. The design of this years model is straight up sick, it really stands out and will definitely get you complements. It really just checks all the boxes for the kind of riders I have mentioned.
