Jetboil clone
Appears to be every bit as good as my jetboil at a better price. Going into a emergprep kit and for hunting trips. Fuel stores inside. Nice feature.

Nice but note that accessories discontinued
If you buy one, Camp Chef has discontinued the pot support accessory. I found a retailer online who had them in stock so I was able to get one.

Base melted while heating water
I purchased this about a year ago and have used it a handful of times. Until this past weekend, I would’ve given it 4-stars. On our hunting trip, I was using the Stryker 200 with Camp Chef’s teapot and their Stryker accessories for cooking without the provided insulated pot. During the heat up, the base melted dumping near boiling water on my son’s leg. The stove is completely useless…bent and melted. I will be reaching out to Camp Chef over there product.

Best Back Country Stove
Having owned and used just about every type of back country stove imaginable 20-30 years ago, when I decided to return to backpacking I thought I knew what I was going to get for a stove. I had a favorite. But some friends convinced me to buy one of the jet cookers. My local retailer carried the Camp Chef Stryker. So glad they did. This is the most convenient and fastest cooking stoves I could imagine. Easy to use and one small canister of fuel took care of three days worth of cooking with probably enough fuel to do it again.

My stove broke after one year
I bought this stove last summer to used on a backpacking trip. During that trip it worked great. I pulled the stove out for this years camping season only to find that it had broken. I found that the brass fuel jet on the stove had corroded and plugged the fuel line up and stopped allowing fuel to flow. I also found that a large portion of the burner was rusted as well as part of the plastic frame had cracked. I was pretty disappointed to find this out since I paid so much for it, and have been a long time user of Camp Chef products. After only 1 year the stove had become unusable. Not sure that i can recommend this product since it seems the build quality of the materials is sub par.

My most dependable outdoor companion
I’ve owned a Stryker isobutane for several years, and this year I got the Mountain 200 system and it is amazing! I work outdoors year round at ski resorts and on rivers, and recreate several days a week. The Stryker is with me every day, used almost daily. I wouldn’t hit the ski slopes or backcountry without it in my pack, hot soup or tea for a midday warmup is so fast, clean, and easy with the Stryker. The whole stove setup is light and compact to allow carrying it on summit attempts both summer and winter. In the summer, I keep multiple Strykers on my whitewater raft to boil up coffee for the whole crew. I love the dual-fuel setup, I pack isobutane in cold weather and the less expensive propane when weight is less critical in warmer weather. My stove has held up to hundreds of uses and still performs flawlessly, super dependable and durable.

I just purchased a stryker model ms200 and I cannot get it to ignite. I am using it with a 16oz propane (Coleman) bottle with the adapter. I have the valve open but it seems that no propane is flowing and it won't ignite even with a lighter. Thanks!
