The Phantom 20 LR Winter Hydration Backpack from CamelBak features a host of winter-specific and backcountry-specific features to make your life easier. The outer is made of durable polyester and nylon which is treated with a DWR to shed moisture as well as increase the durability and life of your pack. A separate avy gear compartment means that your safety equipment always has a home, and you can access it quickly when seconds really count.
A 3-liter lumbar hydration reservoir helps to keep your water supply close to your back, which increases stability, especially over rough terrain. The Therminator closed-cell foam delivery tube helps to keep your water from freezing on those cold days in the backcountry.
When you do head into the backcountry you'll love this pack's ability to carry skis, snowboards, and anything else with ease. A load-bearing waist belt with a zippered pocket helps to alleviate some of the difficulty and a helmet-carry up top lets you keep your head cool as you break trail on a bluebird morning. A fleece-lined goggle pocket, internal essentials pocket, and a wet/dry separation compartment lets you keep your belongings organized where they need to be.
