We like the CamelBak Chase Bike Vest because it takes design cues from sleek hydration vests used by runners, leading to equal distribution of weight and less sloshing around on the trail. We use the streamlined vest on trail rides when we need a low-bulk option for staying hydrated while mountain biking. Plus this vest offers enough storage for our power bars and energy gels when we get dragged out on longer rides.

Great minimalist pack

Secure, and easily adjustable fit. Convenient hose management clips, and decent sized pockets. Breathes well too. I was worried about it being too hot, but even on scorching days, I never noticed it. The strap pockets are super convenient too. My only gripe is that you can't fit a larger pump inside any of the pockets, and there is no pump loop to secure it in the open pocket. Overall, very pleased.

Best bike hydration pack yet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is a fantastic and superior pack to the two it replaced. Perfect design. Room for everything and still is small and light.

Love this thing

Went back and fourth over which hydration pack to purchase and I’m glad I picked the Camelback. Lots of pockets in the front for gels, bars and a pocket that fits my phone perfectly. I hate stopping to take off my pack to get my phone and the large pocket on the front left lets me grab and do what I need. Pack is very comfortable . I would purchase again.

Like a running vest
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I really liked this as an alternative to a back pack and a waist pack; it falls somewhere in-between the two. It only holds about what a waist pack would hold: repair kit, water and a few snacks. But offers better comfort than a standard backpack.
