To say that the C4 Waterman SUB Vector Stand-Up Paddleboard is snappy would be like describing the Empire State as 'kind of tall'—a pure understatement. This high-performance stand-up was designed for stand-up surfers who want to transition to a shorter, quicker ride that feels more like a surfboard. At first, the silhouette looks pretty standard for a short board, but the more you examine the shape of the progressive rocker, the flatness of the bottom, and angular, boxy rails and firm edges, you start to see a rocket of a board take shape. 

The deck is slightly sunken for stability and the tail has a pair of recessed footwells that give your feet superior purchase and precise control for deep turns. Five fins allow you to customize the on-the-water feel to your liking, too. C4 Waterman shaped the SUB Vector so the thickest part of this board is right at the rails and, thanks to the mix of double-concave, bottom shape, and rocker style, this beauty paddles straight as an arrow. Beginners can have plenty of fun on this shorty, but the Vector was truly created for intermediate to advanced paddlers who want to surf something with a little less length.
