As the Burton team's go-to deck for charging icy superpipes, mind-blowing backcountry jumps, and exposed no-fall zones, the Custom X delivers the super-stiff response and surgical precision needed to dissect anything standing in your path. Burton's most aggressive ride, the Custom X uses the newest technologies to deliver an ultra-high-performance ride, yet still retains the same hard-charging persona that made it famous upon inception.

Catering to advanced-to-expert riders desiring the spring-loaded pop and powerful feel of traditional camber, the Custom X charges the entire mountain with the precision of a laser-guided missile. Its directional shape gives it a hard-charging feel on groomers and helps the board float through powder, yet it still rides and lands switch with its twin flex pattern. Inside this all-terrain powerhouse, you'll find a Dragonfly core that's composed of over 500 independent laminations for ultra-light performance and next-level response. Its Squeezebox High core profiling is thinner underneath the binding zones, helping you drive turns more easily, especially considering the board's highly responsive, ultra-stiff nature.

The Custom X uses Burton's 45º Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage construction, meaning that the board's fiberglass has highly responsive carbon strands within its fiberglass lay-up. This provides the excellent dampening and torsional rigidity needed for high-speed, balls-out riding. Additionally, you'll find the Custom X grips phenomenally on ice and hardpack with its Frostbite edges that extend slightly over the binding zones for added grip. Further factor in the blazing-fast Sintered WFO base for a board that's ready to send the world's biggest and baddest park jumps, backcountry kickers, and superpipe walls.
