Whether you're a dedicated commuter, or you've got your sights set on an ambitious saddle-based road trip, you'll be able to carry pretty much everything you could possibly want with complete confidence with the Burley Flatbed Trailer. This trailer weighs in at just 14 pounds, which is great because you can definitely pack enough food, gear, or whatever else you need on your trip to fill its 100-pound capacity. The Flatbed’s tough aluminum frame is made for years of battering, and 16-inch wheels smooth out chunky pavement. The forged aluminum hitch makes it easy to attach it to your ride when you need it, and leave it when you don't. At ride’s end, just wipe down the tarp bed and fold down the sides, then pop the wheels off for easy storage. And when it's folded up, it's small enough to fit inside the trunk of your car.

With current gas prices exceeding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With current gas prices exceeding my budget I've been using my bicycle for everyday travel. I originally thought I'd like to get the Nomad trailer but the Flat Bed fits my requirements. When I need to haul anything larger than my panniers permit I turn to my flat bed trailer. It tows very well, is easy to connect to the bicycle and can haul the fertilizer and plant soil from the local big box shop with no problem.

Very easy to assemble. Appears
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to assemble. Appears to be very well made. I have hauled 50lb. sacks of feed from the farm store with it. I got a little off of the road and was able to get right back on with no problem. I plan on hauling me golf clubs to the golf course next time I play. overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Flatbed trailer is exactly what you need
This timeless design will do what it should... carry your stuff without issue. The system is light and robust. We have gone beyond rated capacity on more than one occasion. While we do not use the function, it packs down to a small footprint for storage or transport quickly and without tools. The tires run forever and we've never had a flat. What else could you want? We use this in a commercial setting so we run the equipment hard.

As an OTR flatbed truck
As an OTR flatbed truck driver that is on the road for weeks at a time, it is difficult to carry enough food supplies to last for the duration. With a Brompton folding bicycle and the Burley folding flatbed trailer, it is easy to to leave my truck parked at a truck stop and bike to a store for supplies. The Burley’s folding design allows me to safely stow the trailer inside my truck along with the Brompton.

Alaska Caribou Bike Hunt
We hunt caribou in a non-motorized area and this trailer has made the process much safer and enjoyable. I exceeded the weight limit and put about 150 lbs on the trailer on the way out this year and the trailer handled it very well. Slight uphills and flats were almost easier with the extra momentum actually! The trail is just 6 miles of double track, but has some very rocky sections, boot-topping stream crossings, and close to 20 mph descents... rough enough that my homemade kayak-wheel based trailer was destroyed on it last year. I've used it since on a longer ride with dirt and paved trails and really noticed minimal resistance and no real loss in my maneuverability. Definitely a good product that I will mostly keep using in the backcountry hauling salmon and caribou.

The trailer was easy to
The trailer was easy to assemble and is light. It can carry a lot. The negative is the attachments for bungee cords. Not good place to do that. The tubing is also too wide for a regular bungee cord clip. Plus the cargo net is too small. It doesn't fit the whole trailer.

Very cool! I bought this from Moosejaw today. Can you direct me to where to get the bungee net pictured on the last photo? I don't see it shown in Burley accessories. Thanks!

What diameter are the frame tubes? Asking because I am wondering about using hose clamps or P-clamps to attach some things.
