Ghost 16 Wide Shoe - Women's

Such a huge disappointment

I was so incredibly excited to have a pair of these shoes. They looked great, so comfy and fit like a dream. That is until I walked in them. The toe box shape changed. My big toe was forced to bend at the joint so much I was in pain. They went back, I was refunded and I’ve gone back to ghost 15. Hopefully they can keep everything about these shoes except the toe box shape moving forward.

Wow! Great shoes

I usually run in brooks glycerin but thought I would try the new ghosts. Love them. It just felt like my run was effortless & was faster. I think the glycerin may be cushier but not a problem. I also loved the red colour, just great

Extra wide width a hit with fit and color

Very happy with these. I have a very wide foot. Ordered the extra wide and it fits well. Thanks for hearing us- the wide and extra wide widths need fun colors too

Left Neutral, Right supinator

Love the off white with color - great to have a wide shoe in something other than black or navy (previous owned)! I'm neutral on my left with a high instep. However, my right foot is a bit supinated and I feel like I'm rolling out, especially from midfoot back. I have a much older and overused ghost (now my garden shoe) although all cushion is gone, it doesn't roll. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the fit - length, width, and heel snug. (Brooks 10.5 W, for comparison I wear 9.5W - 10W in Clark street shoes) I'm not sure whether to keep or try another model. This will be my third Ghost.

Definitely more comfortable and soft on the feet than the last couple of Ghost shoes. Laces are more secure and I don’t have to double knot them to keep them from coming untied. Highly recommend if you’ve enjoyed Ghost shoes in the past.

The Perfect Walking Shoe

The perfect walking shoe. This was my first pair of Brooks. I wear a 9 but sometimes red a 9.5 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 9 and they are perfect. Out of the box, I wasn’t sure I loved them but after a few long walks, I can tell you these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I love them and find myself reaching for them for daily wear.

Mixed feedback

I am not a runner. The reason I ordered this shoe is because I wear a women's size 13 Narrow - very hard to find. I actually need a 13 AAAA, but no one makes athletic shoes in that width. The shoe is too wide for me across the ball of the foot, but otherwise fits well. I wear them to fitness class and for every day wear. In my experience, Asics provide a better fit for narrow feet, but I have not been able to find any in a 13N in over a year.

Not wide foot friendly

The shoes felt really nice on with a good feeling to spring my feet forward. Sadly the heel was super short on my foot and got blisters within the first wear. I did return them but did like how they felt.

Bring back Ghost 11

Good cushioning but hard on feet. Softness will be better. Thin is thin and useless. No room in the shoe to replace other insoles. Ghost 11 was perfect shoe. That has been ruined in successive generations. Please go back and bring back. I returned the Ghost 16 shoes.
