Great

Look great, fit well and I do have a reasonably wide foot. I've always bought Brooks since I bought my first pair. Whilst these aren't as comfortable as other models I've bought that is probably understandable given theyre a trail shoe and built for ruggedness

Dry feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and a great fit keeps my feet dry on the early dew grass

Excellent shoe!

It's my second pair. I love them. Excellent trail and outdoor shoes. The GTX layer makes a huge difference when walking in damp environments (e.g. wet grass, muddy trails, etc.) These are my "go-to" sneakers, not just for trails.

pretty solid shoe

The Cascadia 17 shoe remains well-made with a solid build, and its quality is still quite good.

Too stiff

Too stiff. Exchanged for another pair of street running shoes.

Poor fit in the Cascadia Trail sneaker

I have purchased literally dozens of Brooks running sneakers over the years - all in the same size. The Cascadia is my first pair of Brooks Trail running sneakers. The Cascadia fits much tighter than the other Brooks sneakers. It is not as wide and was painful on my instep. I took them to Peru to hike Machu Picchu. The wear and quality were fine, but the shoe was quite uncomfortable on my foot and I will not likely be able to wear them anymore. This was disappointing since the Brooke sneaker has always been very reliable.
