Whether we're running over root-laden paths, slippery mud puddles, or hard-packed rocky routes, the adaptable Cascadia 16 Running Shoe is ready to traverse the trail. This running shoe is the most stable in Brooks' trail collection, thanks to its adaptable rock shield and its compressible midsole. On uneven terrain, vertical grooves react to roots, rocks, and more with side-to-side adaptability. For even more all-terrain versatility, TrailTack rubber offers grip on both wet and dry surfaces, and integrated drainage ports let water flow out of the shoe.

Happy so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just started wearing these, I love the grippy sole as I walk a lot on gravel roads and paths with uneven surfaces. Have put my orthotic in and it all feels very supportive and comfortable for my narrow feet.

Great for trail walking and running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cascadia 16 in wide is perfect for my size 6 wide foot. I'm new to running but not new to bushwalking in pretty harsh conditions. This shoe is superb for both! I'm now a bush runner thanks to Brooks. My feet don't ache. I've had zero ankle rolls. The comfort is noticeable.

Great trail running shoe
A great trail running show. No slipping or sliding on loose surfaces and super comfortable. No wearing in necessary, just throw them on and you’re right to go.

These do the job
I wear Brooks Ghost for my regular road running, and needed something with a similar feel for trail. The Cascadia shoes do what they need to do to make me feel comfortable on my local fire trails which have lots of loose gravel and rocky terrain.
