Best poles for backpacking
I had the Z-poles before the Vapor poles. The Z-poles broke every other hike, I'd fix them, they'd break again. They felt flimsy. The Vapor poles feel solid and I break one every other year.

Broke during first use
Unfortunately I did not get a chance to try these out. I was leaning on them while waiting in line for first chair and one of them snapped in half. I’ve sent in a warranty request to black diamond but the response was they will try to get to it in three weeks. It is unfortunate but I had to buy another set of poles on mountain.

Poor quality ski pole
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Had them for 2 days of easy skiing in Park City. Snapped one pole right above the basket. STAY AWAY.

Tips broke on 3rd usage
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Height:
- 5' 9"

Overall i really like the style and the weight; however, durability is not there. The tungsten tip broke off on the third usage on snow that was not terrible so i would not recommend buying

Ultra-ultralight poles.
Sometimes it's hard to tell. I even have them in my hands if I don't look down at them. I mean it's 170 g of pole folks. It just doesn't get lighter than this. And with the venom sexy green color I was sold the second I saw them and have never looked back. Fantastic backcountry poles. Really like how long they made the foam extensions.

Vapor Carbon Poles.
Great balance and super light. Grips work as advertised and a very good choice for those not wanting adjustable poles.

Ultra light ski pole
I like them. The handle is a little small. Probably to keep the weight down. Overall the pole are solid and light light.

Filled with helium?
These poles are insanely light, but stiff. Love them for touring, makes up for gaining that extra 5lbs over the holidays.

Nice and light
I've always been leary of carbon poles in the bc, but BD had a good sale and l picked these up. I rarely adjust my pole height and these work great for me. I bought them 5 cm taller than I usually tour at, which was a good decision. Long grip and straps work very well. I'd give them 5 stars, but the jury's still out on durability.

Poles
Comfortable handles, lightweight and nice straps but funky color.
