Amazing
I love this chalk bag. Granted I come from the UL backpacking background, however chalk bags can be cumbersome. This is a durable and light material, very simple waist band (which I’m sure you could swap out if you wanted a more rugged belt), great size. Honestly, I have no complaints. As per other reviews saying it opened in their bags, I have not encountered that. I also keep my chalk bag in a plastic bag anyway because that could happen to anyone with any chalk bag. Highly recommended if you want a bag that feels likes it not even there.

Super light and easy to use
Awesome ultralight chalk bag. It weighs almost nothing and yet sacrifices nothing in performance. Instead of strap to buckle around your waist this bag comes with a thin static cord that also has a small buckle. I actually find this cord more comfortable and makes me forget that I’m even wearing a chalk bag at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

the minimalist-est chalk bag
Super slimmed down and lightweight. I love it. For more than a decade I had a big, chunky thing made of heavy cloth. Not that I noticed — until I got this Ultralight Chalk Bag. It’s on the very opposite end of the spectrum. It stuffs into the tiniest corner of my ever-full crag pack and, when climbing, I hardly notice it on my harness. And it’s got plenty of room for my moderately beefy hands, actually better than the old clunker. On the downside - or at least something I’ve had to get used to - is that it’s so light it easily blows around in the wind. I sometimes have to search around for it back there, the opening not where I think it should be. A minor inconvenience if you’re a minimalist.

Great Bag
I found this bag spot on as advertised. Ultralight and great for alpine climbs. I never found any issue with chalk leaking out in my pack. It has no liner but that doesn’t bother me.

Best Chalk Bag Ever, seriously!
I've climbed for 30+ years and have used a few chalk bags. The BD Ultralight is by far the best chalk bag that I have ever owned; light, compact, and simple. No BS!

Needs a lining
Super light and packable. Unfortunately a lot of the chalk is lost to wind and movement, or inside your pack, because there is no liner. Even a very light microfiber lining would really help keep the chalk in the bag. I may try and sew one in.

Decent chalk bag that saves on weight
After a bad leg injury, I decided to cut all the weight I could from my trad rack---I changed the carabiners, bought UL Camelots, and really tried to cut ounces from every part of my kit that I could. This chalk bag was part of that---and although it is one of the lightest on the market, it was still too small for my somewhat larger hands. I like that it has just a single layer material on the bottom half---sweaty palms don't stick in the bag like some of the other ultralight brands. That said, it was tough to find the bag when I am searching for it after placing a piece of gear because of its size, and my hands (an XL in most gloves), only get finger tips in the bag. 5 stars because of the weight and material design, but 3 stars because of the size. I would sacrifice half an oz or more for a bit larger opening and a bit deeper bag.
