The Black Diamond Telekneesis Kneepad lets you move objects with the power of your knees. Unlike the cheesy skateboarding kneepads many telemarkers use, the Telekneesis only covers what it has to, so it doesn't mess up the breathability of those expensive ski pants. Three plastic shells with closed cell foam backing are articulated to be minimalist when you're standing up straight, but come together for full protection of the patella, as well as giving your upper shin and lower thigh a little coverage. The Telekneesis's smooth beveled edges won't catch on ski pants and are low profile so they won't scoop snow.

Please don't discontinue!
These are by far the best knee pads for skiing. Kept using them as I transitioned from free heeling to alpine years ago and to this day feel naked skiing without them. Not to mention all the ski patrollers that rely on these to keep their knees warm when prepping sleds for patients. Also use an older pair for ice climbing. Please keep making these!!

Game Changer
No muss , no sweating. Wear them telemarking , downhilling and snowboarding. Soooooooo comfy . I'm always impressed how you don't feel the straps . You nailed it , well done.

What Kneepads?
What Kneepads…is what you’ll think when you wear these. They disappear and become one with your body. I use these as a Ski Patroller and they have really been a game changer for dealing/kneeling on hard solid East Coast Ice. I wish I bought them sooner in my career. Definitely recommend to anyone for sports, work and home projects. Very versatile.

Great fit, good coverage
I've worn hard-capped knee pads for over 30 years. These are the most comfortable that I've ever worn. I forgot that I had them on yesterday until I took my ski pants off. They also give more coverage than my old pads, yet are lighter and more streamlined.

Great for ski patrolling and tele skiing
I wear these literally everyday whether I'm working or not they are great for preforming first aid while ski patrolling, and they are also great for protecting your knees while tele skiing!

All day comfort and protection for a Ski Patroller
These are very light and comfortable. As a Ski Patroller I wear these all day and forget I have them on. They provide excellent protection from the hazards of patrolling and support when kneeling next to a patient.
