Great bag for daily use

It an excellent bag for daily use or a small trip outdoors. I mainly use it for my climbing gear going to the gym, and it fits harness shoes and other miscellaneous stuff easily.

Great pack for climbing

Love this as a smaller pack for climbing, perfect for harness, shoes, carabiners, and slings. I would get a separate rope bag (which black diamond also makes that also folds into a tarp which is perfect) since this pack is too small for gear and rope. If you are bringing a lot of trad gear you might want something bigger but for smaller trips to go sport climbing it's my favorite

AMAZING

So I was originally in the market for a new backpack for my masters program. And I have the Creek 35 pack for when I take climbing trips. I was looking at other bags originally then my boyfriend suggested that I look into the Street Creek 24. I was looking to get the smaller 20, but my main concern was having my computer fit in the back pocket. My laptop is "large" - comment from my boyfriend. It is a standard 15". I ordered the bag in the Bordeaux color. It has a rain cover - which I haven't had to use yet, but I honestly and excited for when it does! It is a very pretty deep red/purple color. It fit my laptop just fine, and also the main pocket can fit all my class essentials (books and snacks). I am also currently using this bag as my carry-on for a few trips that I have coming up. It doesn't have cupholders on the side which I was used to in my old backpack but I can just put it in the pack - doesn't matter to me. but I LOVE IT! And I have gotten a lot of compliments about it.

Didn't quite fit my needs.

As a professional tree climber I'm used to BD products and I'm a huge fan of their haul bags so I was excited to see a similar forum aimed at a more causal application. Unfortunately this bag doesn't live up to my expectations. My main issue is the size, 24L seemed like it was a lot and maybe that's my fault but as soon as I threw in some everyday items and my laptop the space seemed to disappear and the load became unbalanced and cumbersome. The tube like shape makes items sit pretty awkwardly and when you throw in a laptop that flattens out the back it pulls the shape tighter reducing even more space. I didn't want the larger roll top because I liked the pull string closure top but now I'm left wishing I tried that one out. With such limited space and minimal organization flexibility I can't imagine who this bag would be best for, besides a dedicated laptop warrior.

Great, durable pack

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This pack is great for a gym/work pack with occasional cragging. I can confirm that the laptop sleeve fits a 16" MacBook Pro but just barely. Anything larger than that probably wont fit. I don't know that I would climb with it on a big multi pitch route but I don't think that is what this is for. I suspect this bag will last a long time.

Street Creek 24

This is a great little bag, perfect for vacation day bag, or going to the gym/pool etc, or really anything else. The material feels tough. Bag sits upright when on the ground. Outer pocket is perfect for keys/wallet/phone with quick access, inside zipper pocket is perfect for storing those items as well. I was on the fence with the 24 or 20. The rain coat and front pocket sold me on the 24. Highly recommend it if looking for a smaller (but stuffable) bag. Fine work black diamond!

Loving my commuter bag

My iPad and notebook fit perfect in the zippered pocket behind the back support. Everything else in the main compartment and my keys and wallet in the front zippered pocket. The bag is perfect.

Perfect daily

It has to be said that I am a zennial. In addition, I like to be prepared I am using my street creek 24 as my daily pack to work as well as a travel pack for overnight trips. This pack replaces my Creek Mandate 28. I like the accessory pocket on the front and the stuffabilityof the main compartment (and the water resistant cover) make this pack an all-in-one product.

My next pack for the next 8 yrs!

I was looking for a new pack to replace my borealis of 8 yrs, and I believe I found the one! I was worried about how big it would be (I’m 5ft tall) but it was the perfect size for my height and items. Been using it the past month and I’m able to carry everything I need from class to the gym (lunch, shoes, gym clothes, notebooks and my laptop) - still with room to spare. The straps are very comfortable, and I love the option of removing the waist straps. I’ve jostled the pack around quite a lot and I have yet to see anything fall out from the front or main compartment, pretty surprised how secure it is, and rain cover is definitely a plus! The main bucket can be a little messy if you like to compartmentalize your things, but I just prefer the space over too many compartments.

Excellent Commuter Bag

Great looking, versatile bag . I love the dedicated padded laptop pocket and large main pouch. The main pouch is big enough to throw my gym/climbing gear into, the tacked gear straps are great for clipping my climbing shoes to the outside of the pack. The front pouch allows me to keep small items like sunglasses, keys, and chargers organized. The integrated rain cap has saved me a few times as well, and kept everything dry. I've used it as a carry on for short weekend trips, and have taken it on the slopes.
