Ski poles
My new poles were adjustable. They would not stay in place so I called to see if I could trade after one day on mountain. I was told to work with product warranty and that poles would not be replaced. Very disappointed.

Close to perfection
Those poles are perfectly weighted and functional. They seem grippy even below the handle. . . the verdict is still out but the coating looks promising. BD knows how to build poles!

Razor Carbon Pro poles
These poles are great for backcountry or resort skiing. They are super easy to adjust and they stay locked at the length you select. They are light but solid. The new blue color is a plus.

Amazing poles
Light and super durable. I have had mine for 10 plus years, likely 150 days in the backcountry. Works like on the first day.

Razor poles
I just came back from a 3 week ski trip to Chile and was unpacking my stuff from my ski bag... I realized that I'm still using the very first pair of Black Diamond Razor ski poles that I bought along with my first pair of skis back in 2011. Before that, I was a snowboarder/splitboarder. Since then, I've had some 10 pairs of skis, broken many z-type poles while speed riding or hiking, broken skis, but these poles are just indestructible. I've even got couple of podium finishes in Swedish nationals for skimo with these poles. Not too much paint left, but the poles are still going strong.

Loose clasps & tips fell off. Make sure to carry your allen wrench with you!
When they work, these poles are so fun to ski with -- super light weight. Great for trekking/telemarking. However, 2nd day skiing and one of the height adjustment clasps loosened and the pole kept collapsing on every pivot (not what you want to happen when you're in the backcountry). I was able to remedy it later by tightening a small bolt but I fear it'll happen again. 4th day skiing and the entire tip (not just the basket) fell off. I went to pivot and the entire pole sunk into the snow. Had to spend another day skiing without poles :( It's possible I got a lemon, but I'm going to return these nonetheless since I've had such bad luck after just a few days of use and expected better for the price point.

Great feel, great performance, great product
These were a replacement for a previous generation of the same/similar pole that was borrowed and not returned by my partner. The previous generation lasted about ten year of at least 30 days per year of hard use. That is a great product.

Sadly my pole snapped yesterday
I loved these poles until it snapped yesterday while doing a small jump. Wondering if it was worth the cost? Maybe that’s what happens with carbon poles.

Light, stiff and solid
So far these are great poles. They are nice and light, really stiff and the locking mechanism is solid. Very happy with them. The powder baskets are a bit small but can be swapped out easily.
