Great Backcountry Backpack
Used this pack for some longer days at the crag, as well as a couple night camping in the backcountry. Comfortable and exactly what I needed.

Mission 75 Pack
Great price point. Used this the day after getting it to Hike Mt Si in North Bend, WA with 38 lbs in it. It felt great; sturdy and comfortable. Only drawback thus far is no side pockets for Nalgen Bottles.

Overall pretty good
Overall, the mission 75 is a wicked ski mountaineering/traverse bag. There are some small but significant issues with the bag. Chest Straps: Plastic tabs that come off. On one hand, it makes them replaceable -- which is good things are going to break. On the other hand, they fall off quite often. It's a minor issue until you're navigating a whiteout waiting for a quick vis window fumbling with a fallen off chest clip at a summit col in -25 with strong winds. I feel like a more robust system could be used for this. Ice axe straps: These are velcro'd in. THey also fall off -- especially when you get snow on the velcro, which is going to happen at elevation in wind. I'm not sure why these aren't sewn into the bag

Next gen big objective pack
Finally, found what I was looking for. A big objective alpine pack that can be paired down for summit push. It just arrived and the quality looks top-notch. I am looking forward to seeing how this pack performs in the Arctic for 28 days at high altitude. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep up with the Mission:)

So Far, So Good
Purchased as my main mountaineering pack for Aconcagua in Dec 2023. As this trip hasn't happened yet, I can't comment fully. But I have packed it exactly as I will in the expedition and have done multiple day hikes with the fully loaded pack. Currently, I'm hauling 40lbs of gear and the pack is very comfortable in all the right spots. I love the exterior crampon pouch. Ice axe attachment is well built. The top, exterior pocket is very, very spacious. And the inside volume honestly feels like a 90L pack. I've got so much gear in there and nothing feels crowded. The side zip to access the full pack is super convenient. So far, I have no complaints. I'll update review after Christmas when I return from a Argentina to update how the pack held up on a true expedition.

A great expedition pack
Brought this pack up the West Buttress of Denali this past June, and was thoroughly impressed with it. Everything worked flawlessly. It carries well, has easy access to the gear inside, and is large enough for several weeks of unsupported glacier travel. The one con I think of is weight; this is a heavier pack. However, reducing the weight would mean it would be more uncomfortable to carry, so this is a worthwhile tradeoff in my mind. Time will tell in the durability department, although given how well it held up after three weeks of abuse I would guess this pack has many years of life in it.

Mission 75 for the mission in life.
Like most mountaineers I’m pretty harsh on my equipment. Unlike most, i also have the harsh Alaskan winters beating down on my equipment and I with temps getting as low as -50 ambient. Clearly that sucks so having a pack that comfortably stows and transports all my clothing and equipment is huge. It also fixes the biggest down side of larger packs in the market which having to basically unpack your bag to get things inside and in high wind environments that’s running the risk of losing equipment. with the BD mission having a side sip for easy access in and out of the pack is a life savior.. I use BD for all my personal shenanigans as well as operationally in the military and is always where I send new comers or seasoned vets of the outdoor enthusiast when I’m constantly ask about what gear I use.

Bon et durable
Le sac est vraiment bon et durable. Il est un peu lourd, mais pas plus qu'on l'affiche sur le site.
