It's a mesh shelter that packs small and weighs less than a rack of cams. The bathtub floor offers similar protection as a tent's footprint, and the mesh canopy is sized for four people. Black Diamond included a pole but you can use your own trekking pole. It's recommended for dry environments, and also comes in handy on river and beach trips.

Hard to beat the Mega Light w/ Mega Bug

I have taken my Mega Light without the Mega Bug on alpine trips and love it. The Mega Bug is a great addition for camping in the Northeast during black fly season!
