When the skin track's icier than expected, we attach Black Diamond's Fritschi Xenic Crampons to our bindings and keep on skinning instead of slipping. It's light in our packs, and the carry bag protects our insulators from unwanted poking and tearing.

Functions well, difficult to attach
Used with the Fritschi Xenic 10 bindings. For skiing uphill they worked great! They were a little difficult to get on though and then did not include a clip (like dynafits do) to hold the post in place. I guess they didn't really need it though because they were hard to get off my skis later. Had to pound the post out.

They are awesome
Purchased them to use on my ATK bindings, I knew Dynafit and ATK were interchangeable and after examining the photos I could see it looked like same style. I was correct, great product did the trick well.

Arrived Quickly, Good Functionality
Arrived within 3 business days of order. Used for the first time this weekend with Dynafit bindings. Fit snugly but doesn’t rest directly on skis which is nice as it prevents unnecessary wear and tear.

Get you where the skins won't go
these things rock - skinning in the PNW summer means climbing ice in the earliest morning for 10 am corn and that means you will be slipping and banging knees with just skins. These crampons are simple, fast and durable, making summer skiing a blast! And, since there aren't any bells or whistles, they will always work!
