Good combo of safety and performance, but at a price
I've been skiing on these bindings for three or four seasons now and I really like them. I went this direction to get the additional safety of a well-designed release system. It definitely allows me to come out of my bindings when needed, but be clamped in securely the rest of the time. Great for touring and outstanding for the down. There is some snow buildup that happens in the heel piece while touring that I sometimes need to bang out by turning the ski upside down and running the heel lever through its range of movement. I still find getting into the toe a bit finicky. The technique that's worked best for me is to 'roll' the toe of my boot in one pin at a time rather than trying to step into both pins at the same time. These are pricey bindings, but the extra confidence of the release capability and the build quality make them worth the investment in my opinion.

Solid
Very solid binding I use for everyday alpine skiing and light enough for touring. Easy to use and know what mode you're in.

Ice can get jammed in binding.
Great binding except ice very easily gets jammed making it difficult to fully move onto touring mode. Hope they fix that bit. Binding has to go full up for brake lock out for upper riser to stay put.

Excellent
These are my first AT bindings, but I've done some tele in the past. These bindings are great. The pins snap in well and the heal is snug. It's easy to get in and out of. Lining up the pins takes some practice (I practiced a few times before going out). I used them on an overnight backcountry hut trip in CO and they were great. I have them on Nordica enforcer Unlimited (the light ones). I would recommend these bindings.

Solid bindings
Those bindings rocks! I'm a pretry aggressive skieron the slopes. Jumping cliffs and some freestyle, I do back country every other day. I was afraid those bindings would be fragile, because they feel light and plastic... But they are solid! Precise and can take a beating! Right now I'm Europe the snow is hard and its tough on the equipment... so I feel pretty confident and happy I went for the Fritschi's!!!! Now hoping to try them in the powder soon....

Easy to use and should save my old knees, just heavy
great usability with quick learning curve to get used to them relative to my old tech bindings, but they are a rather heavy. Will be great for quick day laps but might feel a little sluggish on multi-day traverses.

Interested to test performance
Transitioned from Shift MNC 13s to these. Will update when I have more performance notes, but up front, the mechanisms for transitioning will take a bit getting use to. does not feel as intuitive.
