Best ultralite alpine dogbone.
The internal rubber ring is super helpful (vs an external rubber piece). Keeps the rope side carabiner in place while keeping low profile. Although this isn't nearly as important as function and safety, I really like that it's a simple black and white, since I can easily add whatever carabiner I want to it and still have it look good and not frankensteined.

Works Great for Replacing Worn QD's
Works as expected and the rubber insert keeps the carabiner straight and ready for indexing. They're pretty heavy duty but that's not an issue when weight isn't a factor. Overall, nice dogbone - would recommend to anyone in the market.

The dogbones are light and the improved straitjacket that locks in the rope side carabiner definitely has a stronger grip on the carabiner (although I never had a complaint about the original). A complaint that I do have with these dogbones is the attention to detail in two areas. first, the end of the webbing isn't really well terminated, so it's prone to fraying. Second, during the manufacturing process there seems to be little care in the centering of the straitjacket insert. Why that's a problem is that the straitjacket is made of a relatively hard material and the corners that aren't sewn inside the dogbone are really unpleasant to the touch. Until QA improves on these, I would pass on them

Excellent for multi-pitch and alpine routes
I bought these because they are a light, but a little longer and more flexible than the shorter stiffer quickdraws that I typically prefer for sport climbing. These are excellent when you do not need or want a shoulder length sling to extend a piece of protection but a short, stiff draw may shift a piece as you climb past it. the construction is solid as always with Black Diamond.

I like using these to decrease rope friction. If the route meanders, the longer draw length will allow the rope to lay in a direct path. The extra length is subtle so depending on the route you may need to use an alpine draw instead. I like the simplicity of the longer quick draw. This product is great for new sport climbers working on increasing their gear toolbox.

straight forward lightweight dog bone
replaced all my 6-7 year old dogbones with these. these are newer style BD with tags tucked into big loop. much better. tag doesn't get beat up as bad and you are still able to see the age of the material.

small rubber keeper
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought as replacements for another brand of carabiners (wild country), the rubber keeper is very small, and probably designed for BD's smaller miniwire carabiner. It took a lot of effort to slip the rubber keeper over the WC carabiner (Nitro), and the dyneema on that part of the dog bone seems under tension. I'm sure it'll still hold. right?
