Too Light?
These are definitely light, but I’ve now broken two poles and a tip during three separate training sessions. The first break was my fault - slipped on a descent and put all my dynamic weight on the pole which ended up snapping in two places. Then, on another run, the tip broke from getting wedged between two roots - which is not uncommon - so I was surprised that this led to breakage. I was able to buy and replace the tip, so I wasn’t that concerned. Then today I stumbled on a fairly flat trail and put a little extra weight on the pole which then snapped. That one really surprised me and made me think that these are just not sturdy enough for me. I’m 6”2, 195lb and was a x-c ski racer, so I’m not a novice with poles. But - maybe I’m just too big for these? Love running with poles and love how light these are - but I’m probably going to have to look at something else, unfortunately.

Made for butterflies.
Designed by, and made for, butterflies, these poles are extremely lightweight. So far, they appear to be plenty sturdy, considering their use as intended. I calculate that, in certain terrain, using poles is 15% more efficient going up, and for the downhill it's like having a couple of shots of glucosamine at the ready.

Ridiculously light
These fixed length carbon poles weight not much more than a leaf. I’ve run several 50 K ultras with poles (and wouldn’t think about not having them) and never pack them away- I just hold them on segments where I don’t use poles. There is no value inThe extra weight of having them adjustable.

So light!
These are my first trekking poles, and I'm amazed at how light they are, yet stable and sturdy feeling. I have to get used to running with them, but so far I like them!

Serious poles
Amazingly light and strong. Never have I ever actually folded my poles during a trail race, so the weight savings and reduced failure points compared to the trifold system are great.

Ultralight, Very solid, Great Features
Hard to believe how light these poles are! Surprisingly thin and still feel very solid, minimal flex. Very useful ring feature at the balance point for when carrying the poles.

Super light poles
I have both the FLZ and these and I cannot believe how light these are. The entire pair weighs less than my cell phone!
