Very nice, but...
Great materials, fit, pockets. Great weight for Colorado touring and ski mountaineering in everything but the wettest of the wet. But, where are you supposed to clip your beacon? Strangely, the Recon pants - which are more resort oriented - have a beacon clip in the pocket. Best I can do with these is girth hitch around a belt loop, which is not ideal. What are people doing with their beacon in these pants?

Love em
My go to touring pants. I toured in goretex bibs for years and it wasn’t till I gave these a whirl that I realized how much more efficient stretchy, soft shell pants are. I ended up cutting the mesh out of the vents for more airflow which I do not regret. They hold up in anything from stormy PNW mid winter tours to warm, vert heavy spring days. I would give them 5 stars if they had an inner set of thigh vents but oh well. I’m 5’7 with a 32 waist and medium's fit great.

Initial impression
Pretty excited about the fit on these pants and I think they are mostly going to work great. There are however a few major things that I would personally change if I could. First is an anchor point in the right thigh pocket for a beacon. I personally have never been a fan of the padded Pieps pockets for touring, but a simple loop would be lovely. Second is an issue with how the seams come together around the vent zip at the knee. It feel like it's created a ton of material in that one spot and I'm mildly concerned that they are going to rub and become uncomfortable on longer warm day tours with just boxers on underneath. All in all a great pant so far, and I don't even feel like the suspenders are necessary.

Perfect for Back Country!!
Light weight, breathable, stretchable. I love back country skiing, cycling, and playing hockey. So let's just say that I have a big can. These pants fit perfectly and move with me. The built in suspenders are a must and they work flawlessly. Hands down, the best pair of ski pants that I have ever owned (40+ years of trials to reference). Thanks BD!

Awesome fit, function and Breathable, durability seems below average
Using these pants was awesome, the fit is great pockets are well placed. They move well, made skinning and skiing and skiing a breeze. Breathable and stayed dry. The only major knock is the material didn't hold up well to use. After one day of skiing found several small cuts and blemishes in the material.

Great pants
Just used for a few days, but they fit me so well, warm, durable and flexible. Good pairs to use on colder days.

Great for back country
Haven’t used them too much, but have loved the initial feeling. Most comfortable snow pants I’ve ever owned. Plenty of pocket space. I’m not too sure on the durability as I haven’t used them too much.

Great for touring AND lift served mussions
Very well done pant. The DWR water shedding fabric is soft and stretchy and very quiet, unlike the gore stuff that makes a lot of noise. Pockets are zippered, way better than Velcro. Has boot zips and hip vents. I do like full side zips, but they are hard to find. All in all great gear and great value.
