Bbee 11L Backpack

Great for everyday carry in NYC

I've had an older version of this bag since 2013 that I used as a daily carry (purse alternative). Took it everywhere from sporting events and hikes, to running errands and going to school. It finally wore a hole through the bottom so I bought the new version to replace it. It's perfect! The small pocket up top is perfect for keys and wallet, and the main pocket is just the right size to carry water, an extra layer, snacks, sunscreen, a camera, and whatever else I need to cram in it. It's super comfortable due to the lack of structure to the bag. The waist straps are silly given the size and shape of the bag so I immediately took those off, but the rest of the pack is golden. Fits more than you'd think.

I've used one of the old yellow/orange Bbee packs for years and love the functionality of this small pack. I'm excited about this new upgrade to a time-tested classic because it's a bit smaller and shorter on the back. Big enough to hold my belay jacket and spare gloves (plus some other small items, as needed) while ice climbing, I'm looking forward to putting some miles on my new Bbee 11.

Simple

A small simple pack! I bought my first one in 2008 its still going strong, I just had to replace the zipper for the first time this year (2023). Great for traveling, xc skiing, and day hikes.

Nice little mountaineering day pack for my wife

It’s black, it’s got gear loops, the shoulder straps are decent. It’s a bit small, but hopefully it’ll hold water, a layer, a helmet, some snacks and an axe/trekking poles on the outside.

Nice little Backpack

Excellent quality and enough room for a day activity (MTB, Enduro, Hike, etc.) Highly recommended

Great MTB pack

This pack also works well as an MTB pack for both short and longer rides. The mesh back over ribbed foam helps it feel cooler than packs with smooth, solid fabric against your back. The size is compact enough when you just need to hold a water bladder and a few other essentials, but large enough to also hold knee & elbow pads and a jacket. If you ever need to hold more, then you can also lash things onto the loops that run down each side of the main back panel. The zipper tabs don't rattle around when you are bouncing over rough terrain, like some tabs on other packs I've used that are larger and all metal.

Perfect day pack

Love the size and shape of this pack. The waist and chest straps are great for keeping it secure while skiing. Comfortably holds a spare puffy along with some snacks, 1-2L of water, and keys. If you wanna stuff it you could fit more, like another jacket. The shape is my favorite part. Since it's a bit long and narrow, it hugs your back and distributes weight quite well for maximum comfort when straps are tightened. Have only used a few times but it seems like it will be durable.

Well loved and used for over 10 Years

This is a review for the original BBEE That I purchased in 2010 to run commute in NYC. IT did that flawlessly for 3 years. Ever since then this bag has gone on winter hikes, summer hikes, Bike rides, International Travel, Domestic travel, the grocery store, to the beach and to the top mountains. It is the perfect size for most day hikes without having extra space that you inevitably fill with extra stuff. I wore a small hole in the front about 8 years ago and patched with some tape. Hasn't gotten bigger since then. My wife has been asking for a day pack like this one for years. We have tried on everything but I am going to just get her another BBEE because she steals mine so much. Thank you BD for making the perfect day pack.

In my 30 years of hiking this is probably the best pack I have owned. Small and light enough for the desert hikes. Still manages to carry everything I could need and a little extra. Actually just purchased a second one for my s/o as he is now taking on the adventures with me. When not hiking this is a perfect go bag for the car to carry the random essentials for just in case. Moving from the cold Midwest to the hot southern desert this bag has proven to be one of my best investments.
