Way better than expected!
Was on the fence about these shoes… absolute beaut of a purchase! Would 10/10 recommend to a friend. Super grippy, comfortable and feel quality! I ordered .5 up in size and was a perfect fit for me!

Great fit and performance
Have had these shoes over a year now and wanted to submit a review. The rubber is confident, the fit is comfortable, and the break in period wasn't too bad depending on how often you climb. Have gone through the range of single pitch routes, multi pitch routes, and a few alpine climbs and have really enjoyed the performance and feel especially on the longer days. This was my first BD shoe and I will certainly buy these again when current pair is retired. I would recommend trying them on as they were not my typical sizing from other brands.

Super Comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 13
I’ve been putting them through the wringer, through multi-hour climb sessions and I’m the only person who doesn’t have to take their shoes off. While there’s still an occasional shoe fart, they perform great, doing well with slab smearing and edging on every hold I’ve put them on. Can’t recommend enough! I do normally wear a 13-14 and went for a 13 in this which fit great!

Excellent
I had to return and order a full size up. Actual size was close but far more scrunched in the toes than other brands. Sized up and feels perfect. Amazing grip

Risk it for the biscuit
So far they’ve been great! Normally wear a 13.5-14 street shoe, depending on the brand, decided to risk it for the biscuit and order a 13 in spite of everyone saying to go up. They ended up fitting perfectly to be comfortable for a long day at the crag but still edge great on small holds due to the slight camber. The laces are a great addition and for someone with a, typically, low volume heel, these are perhaps the first to fit perfectly. Excited to defy gravity more in these! *There was a bit of the shoe farting but that’s all but disappeared after a few climbs. If I hear it walking around, I just treat it as a reminder to re-tie my laces.

Better than TC Pro?
Can't remember if I've reviewed this already, but I can say again, BD knocked it out of the park with the aspect pro. Is it really better than the TC Pro? Comfort for all-day - YES. Stuffing the shoe into a crack - YES. Technical performance - Similar. But BEWARE - the sizing on BD shoes is OFF...I have to size UP a full size, maybe even a size and a half.

Good shoes, but the glue is kind of bad.
I got this pair about 2-3 weeks ago, climbed 8-10 days with them, and loved the fit and the grip, despite the foot farts. Anyways, the Glue started to detach at certain spots (near the small toe on both feet and on the inner sides. I don't think it is normal for such a nice and performing shoe. Still love these shoes, but I remain a little dissapointed.

New go to!
I had to put some miles on these shoes before writing a review. So i sought out to climb a wide range of styles before authoring an opinion. At first receiving these shoes, I was impress d with the build quality and amount of padding on them. They looked well put together and were quite cushiony in all the right spots. Fit; On first try, the fit seemed tight. I got them 1/2 size bigger than my street shoe. Everything I read said to go 1 size bigger, but I took a chance and split the difference. They felt tight and I almost sent them back. I decided to take them out anyway and after wearing them for a few minutes, the padding started to mold to my feet and the tightness started to go away. After a few routes, they fit like a glove. I wouldn’t want them any bigger for techy climbing. I was able to throw down a few .13’s and several .12’s on the first day of wearing them. Very impressive! Performance; The rubber was good. No complaints there. The weather was in the mid 70’s most of the time so not sure about how it preforms in really hot or cold conditions. The edging ability was good. They fit into thin cracks and were comfortable in wider cracks, awkward widths and offwidths. No gobies on the ankles. The shoes seem to fit a bit wider toebox which is good for older feet with issues like bunions. The last was flat and stuff which helped my arthritic toes as well. Overall I’m impressed. I’ve been longtime user of the TCPros, but since they changed the design, I haven’t been that happy with them. These are an improvement on the old TCPros and way better than the newer designed ones. Durability; so far they have no issues , but I’ve only climbed around 50 routes in about 4 days out so we’ll see. BD is newer on the shoe market so I had some skepticism when these came out. Well, they came onto the market swinging and delivered a knockout blow in the all day trad shoe market. These will be my new go to’s for sure.

Superb Comfort - Sub Par Fit
Overall: I think these are the most comfortable crack climbing shoe I have ever worn. However, it is one of the worst fitting shoes despite a well fitting shoe. The poor fit leads to a subpar performance while edging or smearing. The shoe tends to bunch and crease when bent at the toes in all the wrong places which leaves you feeling as if the shoe is too big or roomy in the toe box. This was most noticed when face climbing but did not really affect the jamming performance. Everyone's foot is different but best to try these on in person before ordering as these were sized up 1 full size from my typical climbing shoe size.

Better than TC Pro!
I have had these for several months after using TC Pros for several years. I wear a size 13, which makes the TC Pros very snug in their equivalent size 46. My only issue is was the vertical toe volume (not width). I was able to expand that area of the shoe with a stretcher. These have become my go to shoe.
