Why We Like The Mad House 8 Tent
The Mad House collection consists of the biggest, all-season mountaineering tents from Big Agnes, and the Mad House 8 Tent is the largest of the line-up. Its 8-person capacity is certainly large enough for our base camp dining rooms or taking refuge in a multi-day storm, and the fly provides high UV protection and solid waterproofing to handle whatever weather we're camping in. The fly is removable, and the canopy has mesh windows to stay comfy on weekend camping trips, too. We really appreciate that there's a removable room divider to separate the tent for more privacy, and the vents include zippered mesh windows to let air in and keep bugs out.

6 ⭐️ ‘s. Withstands the worst weather!!!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Used as a family (of 8) camping tent. Easy set up and break down. Tons of storage pouches. On first use this tent completely stood up to a 2 hour torrential down pore. All the rain water from 2 roads drained into our site; within 15 minutes the tent was sitting in 2-3 inches of water, after 30 min there was 6 inches. Even with all of our gear, high winds, thunder and lighting all around there were ZERO leaks with the rainfly in place. Highly recommend this tent. Highest quality and great price for a 4 season tent!
