Luckily, with the inspiration of the most versatile jackets out there, the Lost Ranger UL 3N1 Sleeping Bag is just right. Two sleeping bags—one in a lofty, lightweight rectangular shape and one mummy modeled after Big Agnes's Sidewinder bags—can be slept in together to offer cool-weather warmth when we need it and used apart for hot summer nights.

Used this setup on an 3 night backpack while hunting elk on the uncompahgre plateau set was simple it kept me warm the only issue I had is it sticks to the bare body pretty good at night when you warm up. I like to sleep with no sweaty undergarments on.

The idea is great the outside bag works well enough, the way it wraps around the mattress and the pillow barn are a nice touch. It also packs down pretty small. It seems like a warm system but I didn’t get to put it to the test because the 2 nights I used it, it only dipped down in to the 30s. Now for the inside bag it is garbage. There isn’t a draft tube in the bag, which I wasn’t a fan of. It’s main downfall is the zipper, it gets stuck on its fabric and the outside bags fabric. When it isn’t hanging up on the fabric it just doesn’t work! You have to hold everything exactly right or it won’t unzip. Which can be very frustrating when you have to get out of the tent in the middle of the night and you have to fight the zipper for 10 minutes just to get out of your bag.(this happened multiple times). Very disappointed by this product by Big Agnes.

The mummy bag is to small. I'm not a big guy, I could barely get my shoulders flat on my mat. The zipper on the mummy bag is trash. It constantly gets caught in the fabric and is a real pain to open from the inside of the bag. The blanket did strap down to my mat very well. Pillow holder is also a nice touch. The zipper on the blanket works great. It did keep me warm, 24 degrees overnight in a 15 degree bag.
