The Backcountry x Simms Flyweight Tote is appropriately sized to carry our fly boxes, an extra layer, and maybe a few extra cans to and from the lakeside. It's tough enough to handle the muddy, rocky terrain we set it down on while we cast the day away, and all the mud and rocks wipe away with ease when it's time to pack up and head home.

My best friend immediately stole it!

Great tote. Strong, lined well with an impervious layer, inner snap strap to keep its shape when filled. Knew I was purchasing this as an open tote with no zippers or way to seal it. My intended use was fishing trips, and perhaps gently roll my waders and place into this tote for transport home. My bestie liked it so much he snagged it to use first for one of our winter activity travels. Happy with this purchase. Sale price I paid seems the appropriate price point with no real insulation or way to close the top.
