Haven't worn yet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
First impression, outer layer fabric seems flimsy and easy to rip, I am used to Gortex though. Insulation seems solid, I was looking for a coat to wear for cold nights after skiing and possibly on extremely cold days, this looks like it should hold up for that, I wouldn't trust it would last a full ski season.

Shortest Jacket to Exist
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I'm convinced this company made this jacket insanely short just to collect the shipping costs to send the product back. Going to steer clear of backcountry going forward.

It’s official I am a GOATTHEAD MAN! I really like the Jacket! This Jacket fits me well! I find the jacket to be true to size I haven’t been skiing yet but I have worn the jacket riding my 2022 Honda CBR600RR over 160 mph and didn’t get cold! The outside temperature was 49 degrees Fahrenheit! So I will be using this Jacket on cold days instead of my Full Leather Suit! It’s a well made Jacket. I bought one for my Wife as well because we are taking a trip to Breckinridge in march. Be a 🐐 GOATHEAD too!

I didn't get a chance to wear it in the mountain conditions so I can't properly review the performance of this jacket. But initially, I felt it was a little short on me as I prefer jackets that run a little longer to keep snow out of the midsection and away from your base layers. I also questioned the insulation on frigid days, as it seemed like there wasn't much insulation, but there is plenty of room to layer up if needed. The jacket material seems like it would keep out the wind and water pretty well but unable to confirm. Overall not a bad jacket just not exactly what I was looking for, but good quality for the price, and Loved the Kahtadin green.
