The virtues outweigh the faults

Virtues Extremely comfy next to the skin. Who would have thought this is a winter garment, but it is. Its weight makes it ideal for both sitting around in layered clothing and exerting oneself outdoors in the cold. I'm amazed at what an all-purpose garment this is. Faults: Too baggy for an undergarment. Silly colors Like the Tahoe, I would like a thumb catcher on the sleeves.

I really like the feel of this hoodie. Unfortunately, after wearing it once, it got a small hole. I didn't do anything harsh with it. It just formed after a day of wear.

Best all around sun hoodie I've found

Good god this is one fabulous hoodie. Stretchy and comfy. It feels like butter with that much spandex woven in. Pretty much haven't even taken if off all year long even on 90 degree days now that summer has arrived. Please make more and in additional colors!

I'm 6' 4" 185 pounds; an XL was too baggy in the body for me, returned. Otherwise OK. Blue Haze is really light green.

Finally! A sun hoody that feels great next to skin, fits well, and gets the job done with the heat is on! I just spent three days chasing Tarpon on the fly in the Florida Keys; with 30+ hours standing on the front of skiff in the beating sun and wind. Initially, I thought there was no way this material was going to keep me as cool as some of my other go-to synthetic sun hoodies. But I was pleasantly surprised with the performance overall, and couldn't be happier with the feel of the poly blend feel next to skin. I never felt like I was any hotter or sweatier than I was in other sun hoodies, and I'm definitely someone that runs hot. Also, the zip pocket is a very welcome and useful addition - perfect for a small fly box or a spool of tippet. I can't overstate how comfortable this shirt is. this new Poly blend is absolutely superior to the standard poly sunshirt blend used by other fishing companies, and seems to breath a little better than the bamboo options. Last but not least, it fits and looks great! I find myself wearing this shirt in much more casual situations, and will definitely be picking up the other two colors. So what could be improved? Really just have two additions would make this the perfect piece. 1. Thumb loops, just to protect the hands a bit more as they are what gets hammered by the sun during most pursuits. 2. A snap or button about 2 inches up the neck of the hood. This would help keep the sun off your neck when needed, and helps secure the hood in place over a hat on a boat or bike.

I find myself gravitating towards this hoodie when I'm getting dressed more and more. The soft material makes it perfect for travel. I also like that the fabric is just a touch warmer than my Backcountry Tahoe Sun Hoodie. I'd consider the fit a true athletic fit.

Freaking love this thing! Super soft and comfortable. Nice athletic fit with good stretch but not too much. Also the colors are great, will definitely be getting another.
