We engineered our Cardiac GORE-TEX PRO Bib Pant for skiing and riding in unforgiving places like the Chugach range or the mountains of Hakuba. We filled it with features specifically designed for backcountry freeride, starting with a 3L GORE-TEX PRO laminate that leads the industry with its exceptional waterproofing and breathability, letting us get up and down the mountain no matter the weather. These bibs keep us dry when we're skinning straight through a low-pressure storm, and the side zips have a snap at the top so that we can explore with them completely open.

Great bibs for resort to backcountry

126 days in the bibs this winter & spring. From the ultra dry fluffy conditions of Utah, to the cold sticky maritime snow of Alaska and the summer sessions up in Hood. The bibs can do it all. Highly recommend them.

Great price for Gore-Tex Pro bibs. Fit is true to size. The only concern is the Kick patches are too small, they could be much larger.

Great pant material and fit....here's my one complaint and I didn't realize it until I was ready to hit the slopes. NO zippers at the bottom of the legs! Really??? I have never had a pair of bibs/ski pants that did not have them. Bad, bad design IMO. I wish I could return them for that very reason and buy the next model down that do have leg zippers, otherwise they are nice and waterproof. Wear a pair of warm thermals beneath or ski super hard otherwise you will be cold.

Initially liked the designs of these and felt good about taking them up the hill. Was shocked to find a tear near the boot top after a day of skiiing. I was chasing my kids on the bunny slope all day so I have no clue how that happened but it was all I needed to see. Waterproofing seemed good and the design was nice: great pockets and good looks. But to tear so easily was taken as a harbinger of things to come. Fit was ok; a bit tight in the thigh, super roomy in the dumper and maybe a bit short on the inseam but nothing problematic and not the reason for the return.

Used a few times now, and for the price, you cannot beat the material, it is highly effective at being waterproof, wore this all day in the rain. But agree with all others about fit issues, which would have otherwise made these perfect! I’m 6’ and slim, and managed to fit the mediums okay, but the inseam could give some more room. I’d be swimming in them if it weren’t for a few layers underneath, but overall happy with the purchase and intend to keep using them for inbounds and out!

Bought these a few weeks ago and they are awesome. I've always been a pant guy and decided to convert to bibs this season. For the price, the build quality on these is really good. Plus GTX Pro is best in the business for durability and weight. I ski on resort and off piste and these perform in both environments. Already been in the trees alot and scraped these against limbs and they have held up great. I'd say they are a little on the shorter side. I am 5'8 178lbs and the length is perfect on me. If you're a little taller and slim you might consider a different option. The stretch material is great too for ease of movement on and off the lift and for skinning in the backcountry. If you're going to wear these on resort on a blistering day I'd recommend getting a solid insulated baselayer. I wore my Smartwool 200 intraknit pants and was still a little chilly on the lift. As a big Arc'teryx fan (Sabre AR and Beta AR pants) these are great quality for half the price.

Great fit and works with a knee brace!

Finding bibs that fit those of us that indulge in too many beers and pizza can be a struggle. I tried a few bibs prior to these and none fit great with a belly and a knee brace. Flylow Baker bibs were huge in the legs but I couldn't even get them zipped closed. Pants with liners will catch on the hinges of the brace and most bibs are slim through the torso. The Backcountry Cardiac bib check all the boxes with just enough room for a beer belly and no liner to get stuck on a brace. Lack of liner means these will not be warm but they are perfect for those of us that have to sport a hinged ACL/PCL knee brace. They are light weight pants and move great, lots of flex in them. While these are the roomiest bibs in the belly area that I have found, these probably classify as smaller fit based on inseam. I wear 30" inseam pants and these are not too long for ski boots. If you are tall and lanky these will probably be short. If you are a squatty body like me, they will be perfect. For reference I wear a 2XL shirt and jackets are XL or 2XL depending on cut and how much room I want under them. These bibs are a bit baggy in the butt (what bibs aren't) and fit really well in the legs. The torso fits like hug but not an uncomfortable one. I can sit, bend over, etc without fear of bursting a seam. We will see how these hold up long term. Knee braces are generally hard on pants. I've been wearing Flylow Chemical pants for the last two seasons and they show zero wear. All pants before the Chemical pants would get cuts in them from ski edges and some incidental contact around the brace. Crossing my fingers that the Cardiac bibs hold up as well, only time will tell.

These bibs were going to be my primary BC touring pants but sadly they are too short (I am 6'5). The bibs moved well when trying them on and had the right venting and design for a touring pant. I would have loved to try them out in the snow.
