The Hawx Prime Xtd 130 Alpine Touring Boot is Atomic's premier boot built with both touring and alpine skiing in mind. Its 130 flex offers one of the stiffest designs that's ideal for advanced or heavier skiers, and the 100mm last is neither the narrowest nor the widest Hawx Boot, meaning it should fit most feet comfortably. The Free/Lock 2.0 latch attaches so securely that the boot feels truly made for downhill riding at the resort, and unlatched it provides an outstanding range of motions for easy touring through the backcountry. Atomic made the boot out of Prolite polyamide for a lower weight, and an Energy Backbone in the back boasts a true flex all around the boot. The shell and liner are heat- and thermo-moldable to feel like the boot was built for your foot.

Finally Good Boots

I'm a 23.5 and had a tough time finding boots with 130 flex in this size. Thank you Atomic for making boots for small-footed hard skiers. I appreciate that so much. These boots ski very well in resort and are surprisingly light while touring. They fit pretty narrow so if you have wide feet they might not be for you. You could always get them punched out though!

This is the boot that kills all other boots
As a boot fitter, I'm always trying to find my own perfect fit. When I tried on the Hawx Prime XTD, not only did the platinum liner grab my ankle like an old friend, it held on. I have narrow calves (probably from being in ski boots since I was 2) and it hold on well while accomodating for my widish foot. With my normal insert and a quick liner mold, I have never felt more secure, in control, and comfortable in a boot. The only thing I would say is that the Atomic 130 flex feels a bit softer than other 130s, so keep that in mind. I am 6' 170lbs

My Go to boot
Ive used this boot the last two years for touring and ski area skiing and its my favorite to date, Walk mode is solid and love the four buckle adjustment and stiffness of this boot. Updated power strap is big plus and the updated liner is better as well. I am a backcountry skier mostly, but come from a race background so this boot is the perfect combo and since I have a flat wide foot it fits me better than the Hawx Ultra xtd. I am atomic Team athlete.

Excellent touring boot
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

Solid alpine boot and performs well in lock mode and in walk mode is a good option for touring. Lightweight and very comfortable boots. The grip walk is excellent and comfortable liner. The only issues to be aware of from my experience is that in the proper size and fit they are very difficult to get on (and even off). Also the mechanism to put into walk mode is difficult to use after an alpine run-with any snow build up it kind of freezes. Not a huge deal but a bit of a pain.
