Comfortable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable shoes that provide balance of cushion and firmness. The textured bottoms helps with grip! They are breathable and so far have held up! The tan color goes will with outfits looks cute!

Comfort right out of the box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are extremely comfortable straight out of the box. They are supportive and comfortable, have great traction on paths and trails. Fit was true to size for me. I am very thankful for this incentivized item since I was introduced to my new go-to shoe.

Not sure what is going on here
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to love these! I love the color and it’s not an excessive amount of height or cushion added like hokas… felt really comfortable walking around and then I went to go run a quick mile and my 3 last toes were rubbing against the shoe so much i was ready to get home already. Took the shoe off and my toes were bleeding… what the heck?

These are cute!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are really cool. I love the wide toe box. I love the design and color scheme. They are a bit narrow so I sized up from a 6.5 to a 7.5. They seem good with minimal friction, causing blisters. They feel like they are breaking down a tad bit by the back of the heel where it sits on the upper back of my foot. I feel steady in these shoes but they are tight across bridge area of foot. The traction is great! I think I would purchase these shoes again but I don’t think they will be my go to because they are so narrow. After my run my feet, being swollen, felt like a sausage in a tight contraption.

A bit narrow for Altas!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to reiterate how much I love Altra shoes and had three different pairs prior to testing the Timp 5’s. Before purchasing my Lone Peaks, I was looking at the Timps! I have always had a great experience with Altra so I was pretty shocked when my shoes came with a missing right insole. Given that I had three other pairs, one of them being retired running shoes, I swapped those insoles for the new ones, and didn’t miss a beat. Why Altra? If you have bad feet like me, you will appreciate the wide toe box during a hike or run to allow your feet to spread out. (Your back will thank you later)The Timp 5’s weren’t as wide as I would have liked them to be but I was able to adjust the laces to make them wider. I do appreciate that they weren’t heavy either which made trail running more efficient, and one less factor to deal with. Even with the hiccup, altras will forever be my go to. 🫶

Great shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes run a bit small so I had to order the next size up. The toe width is a bit narrow compared to my other low peak shoes. Overall it’s still a great shoe and the color is pretty.

Good foot feel, wide toe box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a HUGE Altra fan and have the Paradigm 6 and 7. I will never buy another running shoe brand! The wider toe box allows for a nice toe splay. I did need to adjust the laces so they fit comfortably, but after that they were great. They have incredible traction from the Vibram sole. I highly recommend!!

Great running shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New running shoes! Good cushioning and the toe box is wide for added comfort. There is good traction at the bottom. The shoe is a bit stiff so you’ll need to break them in but do get more comfortable with wear.

They literally feel like I’m hiking and jogging on clouds!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They literally feel like I’m hiking and jogging on clouds! They are so soft and so comfortable. I’m a curvy and very heavy girl so my weight isn’t distributed evenly! These really help offset that allowing me to make longer hikes and do activities for longer without feeling pain in my knees and feet. They are extremely durable with excellent traction! I’ve been eyeing this brand for over a year! So happy I made the choice to purchase!

Slightly narrow but comfy overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial thought after first opening the box was the color is perfect and they look like a very well made and durable shoe. This is my first pair of altra shoes so I was excited to try them. I’m usually an 8.5 but after reading some reviews I decided to go with a 9. They were still quite small. I have a pretty normal sized foot but this shoe was extremely narrow. The toe box could also use a little more height because I felt the shoe was pressing down so hard on my foot. They do give nice support so I’m hoping once they’re broken in more they’ll be okay. I love the grip and traction the shoe offers as well and is semi waterproof but not totally. -a little update after breaking them in the first day: definitely had blisters on both of my ankles but they’re feeling MUCH better. So I would recommend breaking them in and giving them a chance. The first time I wore them for a run in the rain of different terrain and I must say they had excellent grip. Even when I came Inside to take my shoes off on a tile floor; I wasn’t sliding around like I would with other shoes. I even wore them to work as a nursing assistant and they were very comfortable for my long shift. I’m glad I gave them a chance!
