We like to keep it fast and light on the trail on summer days and in winter snow, so for a one-shoe quiver, we look to the Lone Peak All-Weather Low Trail Running Shoe. The zero-drop, foot-shaped construction lets our feet land and glide into toe-off as they were designed to, and the wide toe box gives ample room for our balance digits to splay for ultimate performance. With the waterproof upper and sticky soles, these shoes allow us to no longer curse mother nature when we arrive at a water crossing, gleefully bounding over mossy, slippery rocks.

Poor Quality-Began Failing After 6 Weeks
Side wall started tearing after 6 weeks (see pictures). Side support began failing after two months. Shoes feel less supportive now than when new.

Keeping consistency with sizing is boring...?
Have multiple Lone Peak 4 through 7s. I wear a size 10 in all of them. But not this one! This feels at least half but more likely a full size too small (less room in the toe than even an old pair of LP size 9.5 I happen to own). How much more narrow it is, I can't really say since it's not going to feel right in width if the length is off. No, it's not that the waterproofing makes for a more snug fit. Comparing it side-by-side to another Lone Peak shoe, it's measurably shorter. Bought these from another retailer in my usual size. Now have to deal with the hassle and cost of return shipping. I don't know what my actual size in these should be and I'm not going to waste more time finding out. The company overall seems to be drifting out of touch with the customers. That's a shame.

Too Narrow.... What happened to Altra?
It's almost like they want us to remain in foot prison. Why is it so hard to find a shoe with Altra? I want a LOW profile, LOW cushion "true to foot shape" shoe.

too narrow, tho marked original width
They say original foot shape for these, but they feel way narrower. Toes cramped. I put them against my old regular Lone Peaks, sole to sole, and they truly are narrower, by about 1/4 inch. Also shorter by the same measure. Same size on the label, not same size in fact. They're also quite stiff.

The shoe of the future, when it comes to hiking/what weather
I walk my dog every morning through the park and wet grass areas along with hiking trails that have longer grass and/or weather conditions. I have had no trouble with water break through. My feet are is dry as a bone with the comfort of a tennis shoe. I would highly recommend this shoot anybody looking for a multi versus shoe that not only is stylish, but does the job that it has been put out to do

Good shoe
I would say they are water resistant than waterproof. The grip on the soles are great but will take some breaking in time like really good boots.

I love Altra, but toe bed is not as wide as it used to be.
Toe bed is not as wide as it used to be. I buy Altra because of the wide toe bed, as do most people who buy your shoe. Quit trying to change it. It works because it works, corporate only wants to be richer. Do what you do best and corporate can do what they do (whine).

Great for cold weather
These Lone Peak All weathers are my preferred show for below freezing runs; keeping feet dry and warm. But on a frost covered boardwalk grip is not great, nowhere near that of Vibram Megagrip soles.
