Transalpina GTX Hiking Boot - Men's

Aku's Transalpina GTX Men's Hiking Boot blends classical heritage with modern design to create a boot that's lightweight, comfortable, supportive, and versatile. The upper is classic suede, but it has been decked out with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane, making it a capable wet-weather boot. Aku designed it with Air 8000 breathable construction, so it's as at home on warm and sunny days as soggy ones.

To support your foot while allowing you to feel the contours of the trail, the Transalpina has a moderate-stiff flex, courtesy of the nylon and EVA lasting board and Vibram Cloud rubber outsole. Even better, the IMS3 chassis combines a Custom Fit IMS 162 footbed and PU exoskeleton for a snug, supportive fit that's designed to prevent ankle rolling, twisting, and slipping in the boot, so you always have a solid platform. The whole package is built around Aku's Anatomical Fit last, which offers a precise fit and is designed to encourage natural and dynamic movement, taking the strain off of joints and making each step a little easier.
